MY MOTHER MY ROCK

My Mother is like Gold she shimmered in the sunlight, and sparkled in the moonlight. My Mother was like steal she'd never bend in times of trouble She was the kind of mother that you could aways count on day or night for a chat or just a shoulder to cry on. She'd listen not only with her ears but with her heart . I remember 9-11 I called her at 5. A.M She answered with a worrie in her voice I explained to her what happened with a tear going down my

face she wanted me to move back to alaska but I told her no matter how afraid I was I was'nt going to let anybody chase me away from my life . Then anthrax came into the post office I called her she said -be very careful- I knew that I just needed her to say that. She was always there to give me hope to survive the next day . I've come to realize that life is so fragile and to take each day for granted. I' ll always remember those words she said "Never Fight with your loved one while their Walking out the door for they may never come back."
