In Loving Memory
Kathrine L. Vanesse
August 27, 1952 - May 26, 2004

Kathrine Kerr Vanesse, 51, passed away peacefully at her home in Wilder, VT. on Wednesday May 26th after a courageous three-year battle with esophageal cancer.
Kathy was raised in Lebanon and graduated from the Lebanon High School Class of 1971. Over the years she was employed by Dartmouth Printing, Whitman Communications, Lyme Road Laundry and One Clean Place, but her greatest work and source of pride was as a loving wife of twenty-three years and as a mother.
A private, humble person by nature, Kathy was a compassionate friend and often crocheted Afghans and made pillows for those who needed comfort. She enjoyed butterflies, country music and spending time with her husband, children, and cat "Worthless".

She will be remembered for her ready, gentle smile.Throughout her life and her illness were her husband, twin children, and her dearest extended family, Dale and Betty Palmer. Kathy's family extends their deepest gratitude to those who helped her and them through their greatest time of need-Hospice volunteers, Susie and Shirley and Hospice Nurse John Young.
She is survived by her husband Paul Vanesse of Wilder, twin children Jason Vanesse of Enfield and Stacy Vanesse of Wilder.

"TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVE ME"

When I am gone, release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears, be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown but now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for if you grieve you must then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part so bless that memories within your heart I won't be far away, for life goes on, so if you need me, call, and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me I'll be near and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "WELCOME HOME"
